After bending, the aluminum plate simply cracks, or it may burst through anodization after bending. Many sheet metal processing companies are confused. How can it not crack? The following editors will introduce you to this knowledge.
1. Hardness of aluminum plate.
The hardness of the aluminum plate is too high, it is easy to crack. This requires the selection of aluminum materials, mainly depending on the aluminum trademark and status. Usually the comparison of 1 series, 3 series and 5 series is commonly used; the hardness of 6 series and 7 series is too high, it needs to be annealed to the O state before bending. There is also the quality of the aluminum plate. The imported material of the same type of aluminum plate is not simpler to crack than the domestic material, but the price of the material is also much more expensive.
2. The thickness of the aluminum plate.
Aluminum plates that are too thick are not good for bending, we understand as soon as we think about them, and try to use thinner aluminum plates.
3. Bending the size of the R angle.
The larger the bending R angle, the higher the success rate, so try to increase the bending R angle as large as possible.
4. Aluminum plate texture direction.
The bending direction should be straight with the grain direction of the aluminum plate, not parallel.
5. The aluminum plate parts that need to be brushed are best if they are bent after drawing, otherwise the probability of bending cracks will be added.
